Staying True to Yourself with Julie Rice of Inner Beauty

FPO__80A1733 (1)

Julie Rice discovered her passion for makeup as a teen when she found the Clinique Counter at Nordstrom. She was trained at FIT and began working at a makeup counter, but when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis just five days before her wedding, she became attuned to the importance of health. She launched Inner Beauty, a clean cosmetics brand whose products are free of harmful chemicals. Today, Inner Beauty is quickly becoming a major beauty brand that you’ll be able to find soon at major retailers. Through her company, Julie is spreading the word about clean products and the importance of taking care of yourself.

Today, Julie joins the show to talk about her journey from working at a makeup counter to growing Inner Beauty and getting her brand into the retailer of her dreams. She shares how her experience being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis led to her desire to create a cosmetics line that was free of harmful ingredients. She offers key advice for listeners who want to start their own beauty business and shares some exciting news about her company. She talks about how she makes working at home work for her and how she makes time for her family. She gives the biggest lesson she has learned over the years and shares how she manages her chronic illness with her busy entreprenista lifestyle.

“Do whatever it takes to get it done, and don’t forget to do it with love, passion, and purpose.”
