Vaani Sai Empowers Creators With Insights From Neuroscience
Hi, Vaani! Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:
Hi, I’m Vaani. Neurowrite empowers writers and creators to achieve their fullest potential by harnessing insights from neuroscience.
Who are your customers?
Neurowrite is for writers, creators, and entrepreneurs who want to learn evidence-based strategies to overcome creative blocks. Our Insights Library and Slack Community offer a plethora of insights that individuals can access for free. In addition, individuals seeking personalized solutions for their creative challenges can partake in digital courses or 1:1 coaching programs with me.
What was your background prior to starting your own business?
After studying neuroscience, I went on to become a teacher. At the same time, I freelanced (and still do) as a content writer and editor. Neurowrite is the amalgam of these three pillars in my life: my passion for writing and creating, my experience teaching, and my background in neuroscience.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
When I was suffering through a particularly long bout of writer’s block, I looked to online blogs for help. While I was looking for solutions I discovered there is a wealth of neuroscientific research being undertaken in creativity. I wanted to distill these insights and make them accessible for other writers and creators who may face similar challenges.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
I always envisioned it but didn’t think it was possible until I did it!
Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?
I’m at the very beginning now! neurowrite officially launched on June 21st, 2024. We started building our socials and out website in May 2024 and we’re happy to say we’re experiencing slow and steady growth. Looking forward to more folks joining the community!
What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?
Building community. As a new entrepreneur, my personal circle only consists of a few people who have the entrepreneurial mindset. I’m really looking to learn and develop my skills, but expanding my circle has been difficult, which is why I’m so happy I found Entreprenistas online and joined!
What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?
Developing video modules for my first course and coaching program!
What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

What is your top productivity tip?
Progressive milestones and accountability via community!
On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?
Short-focused work sessions, with many breaks over the course of my work-day and work-week.
What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?
I’m privileged to be in a position to only choose work I genuinely love doing (i.e. writing, editing, creating), and partake in activities that support my income diversity (i.e. dancing, performing, teaching).
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
Things don’t have to be perfect for them to go live.
What’s the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?
Instagram. It’s the foundation for almost all of my ventures!
