“You really have to understand that, in order for you to scale, you have to learn how to do certain things and master them before you move on. If you don't do that, then your audience is going to feel just as lost as you feel.”
In this episode of Entreprenista, we sat down with Ingrid Read, the founder of Working Momkind, the largest community and online resource dedicated to empowering and supporting mothers from all walks of life. Ingrid is also the founder of Grow With Community, a consulting agency that helps startups build engaged and loyal communities. After the birth of her first child, Ingrid saw the critical need for community support and grew Working Momkind from a simple social media account to a network with over 200,000 moms. With a decade of experience in sales, customer success, and community management, Ingrid is passionate about fostering connections and providing invaluable support to both moms and to entrepreneurs. Her work inspires and uplifts, making a meaningful impact on countless lives and now, Ingrid will be leading the community builder cohort inside of our very own Entreprenista League. Tune in to hear more about why Ingrid started Working Momkind after she had her first baby, and what it taught her about the importance of community building. She also shares what led to the launch of her consulting agency, Grow With Community, as well as her top tips on how to grow and engage a community.
