Staying Ahead of the Curve with Kate Kimmerle of Snaproducts & Miss Spa

Kate Kimmerle_Square

Kate Kimmerle, the first entrepreneur to bring sheet masks from South Korea to the United States, has been ahead of every skincare and beauty trend. She is the founder and CEO of Snaproducts and the creator of the iconic Miss Spa product line.

In this episode, Kate shares her journey founding Snaproducts and how she managed to land her iconic Miss Spa product line in some of the biggest retailers across the country. She explains how she stays ahead of the curve and knows which trends will take off in the United States. She discusses the experience of  running a private label business and the process of developing products. She shares her experience bootstrapping and why she decided not to raise funding, and she gives the inside scoop on making big pitches to retailers. She shares the lessons she’s learned along the way, and she offers her biggest tips for pricing products, explaining why this is such a challenge.

“Trends come and go. Ideas come and go. But no matter what, if you feel passionate about something, you’ll always be able to sell it and feel good about it and nurture it and feed it.

And that, to me, is what it’s all about.”
