The New Era of Event Planning with Jennifer Brisman of Vow

August 29, 2022

Jennifer Brisman was always a go-getter, a starter, the one who made things happen. Add that to her, as she says, “problem with authority” and you get the creator of futuristic event planning. Even though she knew she wanted to be her own boss, Jennifer’s career path started out in a completely different field–pre-med. But on one fateful day, as Jennifer planned a pre-med event, she met a person who would change the trajectory of her life forever.

In this week’s episode, we talk with Jennifer Brisman, CEO and founder of Vow, an event planning company that has changed guest management for the better. She shares tips for starting a tech company, how to handle business with a remote team, how to raise capital, and so much more.

“Since I was little I feel like I naturally had a problem with authority or doing things, you know, the way anybody else wanted me to do it. I always thought I knew best. And you know, as time went along, I kind of proved that to myself in small ways.” – Jennifer Brisman
