Halle Tecco is the CEO and Founder of Natalist, a company proudly ‘funded, founded, and led by moms’ specializing in fertility and pregnancy products. After graduating with a BS in Finance, she moved to Silicon Valley and in 2010 was a Business Development Manager for Apple, developing health and medical apps. The same year she also founded Rock Health, the first venture fund dedicated to digital health and since 2007 has angel invested in over 100 companies. Halle has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPH from John Hopkins Bloomsberg School of Public Health. She has featured in many media publications, with SF Chronicle listing her amongst ‘The Most Powerful Women in Technology’ and charting in Forbes ‘30 under 30’.
Today Halle joins us to share her unique journey from Finance graduate in Cleveland Ohio to Angel investor and CEO with a huge portfolio of companies to her name. She discusses her time at Harvard Business School and what she learned both from the MBA course and the people she met through it. Halle reveals the pivotal moment a family crisis made her reassess her work life balance and approach to office hours, and why she will never go back to those ‘workaholic’ days. She also shares her personal story of fertility and IVF experience, and how this difficult period became the inspiration for Natalist, an empathetic brand for women with a goal to create better women's health products.
