Who are your customers?

Women 30-60 who want to avoid court, save on unnecessary legal fees, and divorce wisely.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

Paulette is an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance since 2006 and a 500-hour graduate in Parayoga Master Training with Yogarupa Rod Stryker in the Sri Vidya Tradition of the Himalayan Institute. As a lifelong learner, she instills and inspires her students to continue their education no matter what path the journey of yoga takes them on. Through Asana, Ayurveda, Dharma, Kriya, Krama, Vayu, Marma, Tantra, Sutra, Prana, Mantra, and Meditation her RYS 200/300/500 and CEU Sacred Space Yoga School passes along all that she embodies and practices and is most proud of her student/teacher/mentor relationship. She privately coaches and participates in advanced studies in group training. She is also a Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant, Infant Massage, Yoga Birth Method, Thai bodyworker, Reiki Master trainer, Performing Arts trained teacher, Barre, Pilates, Plant-Based/Vegan-Macrobiotic Cooking Lifestyle coach through the Kushi Institute and grateful and blessed mother of three adult children. Paulette lived in Serenbe, GA where she taught yoga asana, aerial classes and workshops and now offers private asana and teacher training.

An incredible mission! What made you take the leap to start your own business?

Hundreds of women reached out to me for help.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

I come from a long line of successful women entrepreneurs and have never understood the word fear or failure. I have never had a corporate job.

Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

Rebranding my #1 best-selling book “Better Divorce Blueprint” in four categories.

Congrats, Paulette! What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

Expansion of Better Divorce APP, the release of companion online course, and the addition of mediators and coaches to our academy.

What is your top productivity tip?

Hire exceptional assistants who keep you on track, stick with ONE task at a time, and learn to say NO.

On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?

Using our hotsprings spa daily, rest, hydration, aerial yoga, years of meditation experience, and did I mention travel? And most importantly NO electronics in the bedroom.

All such great tips! What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?

Always find time for couple time, you are only as good as your relationship.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

Do not let shiny objects distract you.

Are you a Mamaprenista? If so, please share your best advice for simultaneously managing a business and a family:

Keep them in the loop/know. Your children will respect your work if they understand it but never pressure them to like or do what you do.

What’s the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?

Nothing that can’t be found on my desktop. I am a 27″ iMac girl…cellphones can be hugely disconnecting from the real world…put it down and notice what is going on and live it…don’t record it.

What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?

Honeybook…pretty and effective.

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

Solve ONE problem and do it better than anyone else.
