What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

I am so excited about being an Entreprenista League member because I love the community where women are empowering other women. It’s such a great thing to see women lifting each other up and always supporting one another.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I have always been interested in having my own business, but what made me take the leap and start it was when I was working in a corporate job and not feeling like I was living up to what I actually wanted out of my life.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

Prior to starting my own business I worked in retail and marketing and have a Master’s degree in Media Communication with a specialization in Public Relations and Advertising.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Not when I was in college, but after college I realized that this was a great path for me.

Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

To start out, I just started with launching on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, but I didn’t have a set strategy. Crazy, since I have a marketing background, but it’s much easier for me to market others than it is for me to market myself. However, I did have a client pretty early on that was a family friend.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?

One of the biggest challenges for me was niching down in my business and ensuring that I was in the right industry. After launching in Marketing, I decided later in 2021 that I wanted to transition into an OBM.

What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?

Becoming a Certified OBM (Online Business Manager).

Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

Absolutely, I believe work/life balance is essential! Some of my best tips are scheduling out my days so that I can schedule in times to take breaks, go for a walk, and eat a proper lunch.  I’m also a big believer in scheduling massages and facials to pamper myself.

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

One thing I wish I had known was that there will never be a “perfect time” to start this journey, so you just have to trust yourself and take the leap!

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

Transitioning my business to offer OBM services after becoming a Certified OBM!

What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

Taking on more clients and helping more business owners get focus, free-time, and financial growth through my help.
