Hi, Gabby! Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Hola, I’m Gabby, a Los Angeles mobile massage therapist providing massage for self care and mental wellness.

What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

Definitely being in a community with ladies who want to help build each other up!

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I was spreading myself thin! I was working for a chiropractic office then clocking out to work for myself on the side but then the demand shifted in my favor and I finally went for it!

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

I never thought I’d work for myself. The dream was to find a job that would offer benefits but that is nearly impossible for my field. So I figured I might as well set my own path.

Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

I didn’t have any but I’ve actually been very blessed to have a great and supportive clientele! And through word of mouth and referrals through Instagram.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?

Knowing how to navigate as a solopreneur and knowing that even if I made mistakes it would help me grow.

What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?

Finally becoming an LLC! Even if I’ve been working as a massage therapist for over a decade it has definitely given me a sense of accomplishment.

A huge accomplishment! Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

Absolutely! Making my days off non-negotiable!

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

I’d say believing in myself sooner and reaching out to other business owners to ask for advice.
