Describe your business in a few words:

I am the Founder and CEO of Gleem Beauty. I’m also the Founder of Wilhelmina Kids & Teens and Wilhelmina Creative Management where I was president for nearly two decades.   Marrying the practical and the philosophical, I created Gleem Beauty – clean beauty products for women and men of all ages who want to take their skincare to the next level and “feel the Gleem.”  The base of all products is clinical-grade organic Aloe Vera.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

Over the course of 18 years at Wilhelmina, models often came to me for product recommendations saying that nothing was helping her skin. The simple answer was – to develop products that I could certify would help. From that moment on, I was driven to learn more about the skin, products, and ingredients and what was most effective to achieve healthy, radiant skin with GLEEM.”

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

When I was a kid I got my dad to make potato pancakes for me to sell at the street fair.  No one called it being an entrepreneur yet – I was nine!

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?

It is a lesson I have learned over and over again.  There are no shortcuts!

What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?

The collaboration I created with Armani Beauty and Bloomingdales not only gives me bragging rights, it has opened the door to opportunities I never would have dreamed of happening in less than 6 months after starting Gleem Beauty!

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

If it was easy, anyone could do it!

What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

You will see a full line of Gleem Beauty products available in major department stores and the beginning of Gleem Beauty Spa Boutiques.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?
