Hi, Laurie! Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Hi, I’m Laurie. I’m a trusted advisor and executive coach to C-Suite leaders and Chiefs of Staff. I’m also the founder of ChiefSpace Boardroom, a group coaching mastermind for Chiefs of Staff.

What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

I am thrilled to be a part of a rich community of entrepreneurs doing impactful work in the world.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

My passion to help others reach their fullest expression of leadership.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

I spent 27+ years as a senior leader at AT&T.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes, I’ve always felt it deep down inside. When the time was right for me, I dove in and never looked back!

Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

I built a word-of-mouth business leveraging meaningful relationships from AT&T and other leaders throughout my 30-year career there.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?

Learning to say no to things that are not aligned with my big rocks.

That’s such a vital skill! What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?

Seeing people achieve what they once thought was impossible for their lives.

Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

Yes. Although I prefer to consider it work-life integration. Building beautiful boundaries has always been key for me + honoring them as well. 🙂

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

Trust my instincts. They have never steered me wrong.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

I became a published author of ‘Who Has Your Back? Getting The Support You Need By The Chief of Staff You Deserve.’ And it became a best-seller within 3 weeks on Amazon.

I’ve got book #2 underway now and just launched ChiefSpace Boardroom, a group coaching mastermind designed for Chiefs of Staff who support high profile leaders.
