Describe your business in a few words:

Hi, my name is Jessica Taylor of Jessica Taylor Realty! I’m a North Carolina native with a passion for helping people around me,  and I turned that love for helping others into the power that fuels my real estate business and organization. I joined eXp Realty in 2021 and have worked to build a brand focused on making an impact.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

10 years in the serving industry, 2 years in military logistics, 2 years in family law.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

No. I came from a single-parent home, and I never thought I was enough to follow MY dreams. It came many years down the road and lots of struggle to know I NEEDED to be my own boss. I was destined to be an entrepreneur. It truly filled my heart to help others and for the people around me to succeed.

Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

I used social media to send my brand to the world; it’s still a work in progress. Building daily.

What is the accomplishment you are the most proud of to date?

Having the courage and straight to know I AM ENOUGH, I am worthy of my wildest dreams.

Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

That’s loaded, haha! Being a Real Estate agent, work and non-work-life blend into one. But I believe it’s important to put yourself first. Blocking time for the gym, a walk, time with your family, time for a vacation, etc. Everything has its time. As a businesswoman, you learn to balance that time; give 150% when needed and 0% when allowed.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

I HAVE ARRIVED!!

What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

I would like to build my local business into a multi-million dollar producing organization. Nationally, I would like to change 100 lives by inspiring others to build their own dream careers.

What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

Making connections I would not have made otherwise and made an impact in other people’s lives.
