Hi, Jayme! Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Hi, I’m Jayme. I am an endless dreamer, a first-generation homesteader, and a super mom of two. I’m a visionary with a heart full of determination and the spirit of a true humanitarian. My professional journey began in the fertility field in 2016, where my brainpower and passion for giving sparked the creation of Acts of Kindness Embryo Donation in March 2024. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Acts of Kindness Embryo Donation, my mission is clear and powerful: to offer hope and opportunity to all and to ensure every embryo gets the chance at life it deserves. AOK is team of compassionate women who intimately understand the trials and tribulations of infertility. Having faced our own fertility journeys and the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages, we are deeply empathetic to the profound challenges our recipients endure. Our mission is fueled by an unwavering desire to alleviate burdens and provide unwavering support to those on the path to parenthood through embryo adoption and donation. I am always eager to build connections and expand the resources available to me and my organization. I am excited to network with you all and explore how we can help each other grow. I am driven by a commitment to make dreams come true and spread kindness in every way possible.

Who are your customers?

Anyone who is looking to donate or adopt embryo(s).

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

My boss told me I couldn’t do it and I would never make more than I did working for him. The verbal abuse fueled the fire for me to believe in myself and make the blind leap.

Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

I had already nurtured many connections in the fertility field with my previous employer, so I started by reintroducing myself and relying on word of mouth to help launch our company and get our name out there.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?

My old employer. Shortly after I departed, they filed for bankruptcy and have since been featured on NewsChannel5. Overcoming the negative views of the company I sunk 8 years into has been the hardest. I learned that nurturing relationships instead of destroying them is the better option and that human connection is the most valuable asset a business can have.

What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?

We have partnered with Livestrong to create a new opportunity for cancer survivors! Conception Beyond Cancer: A New Hope Through Embryo Adoption For many cancer survivors, the journey to remission is met with an inspiring blend of resilience and hope. However, the dream of starting or expanding a family can seem elusive due to the effects of cancer treatments on fertility, especially if no genetic materials were frozen prior to treatment. We believe it’s time to illuminate a path that offers renewed possibilities and profound joy—embryo adoption. AOK aims to be the first to highlight how embryo adoption can open doors for post-cancer fertility. This option allows women who have survived cancer to achieve pregnancy using donated embryos, offering a tangible and deeply fulfilling way to bring a new life into the world. One of the most compelling aspects of embryo adoption is the ability for a woman to experience pregnancy herself. This journey not only fulfills the deep-seated desire to carry and nurture a child but also symbolizes a powerful narrative of overcoming adversity and embracing new beginnings. We are proud to partner with Livestrong to bring this empowering option to light.

The most inspiring mission and something to be so proud of! Do you have any other recent wins from the last year that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

We just launched in March of this year, our new program Conception Beyond Cancer: A New Hope Through Embryo Adoption is our biggest win. Personally, I have been casted for The Blox and am waiting on filming for this upcoming August.

What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

The sky is the limit, we are constantly networking and advocating for fertility rights! At this time, we have a few things we are working on but cannot disclose any details just yet! I am however working on launching our first podcast- Embryo Futures, the podcast where we explore the incredible journey of embryo donation and adoption. I plan to shed a light on the heartwarming stories, pioneering partnerships, and innovative treatments in the world of fertility.

What is your top productivity tip?

Be yourself, share your wins, and just be authentic and passionate about everything you do.

On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?

By networking and keeping myself challenged on a daily basis. I like to create so when I feel burned out I will create a flyer, promo, newsletter, etc. Plus, little mental breaks and motorcycle rides help get my creative juices flowing.

What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?

When you love what you it becomes a part of your life and doesn’t feel like work. I try and divide my time between all aspects of my life and just accept that nothing is every perfect. I give what I can when I can, and hope others will accept and understand that.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

More, LOL. I did not know a lot about business and how to properly construct it when I started. I am still learning and enjoy growing as I learn.

We know you’re a Mamaprenista so please share your best advice for simultaneously managing a business and a family:

I run my business and homeschool my children on our homestead. We are a very close and laid-back family for us it is nothing! My children respect my work hours and I respect them by never dismissing them during my work hours if I am needed.

What’s the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?

ChatGPT, It helps me articulate everything quickly and saves me so much time.

What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?

CIMA Growth Solutions, it is a cloud-based dashboard that houses all our contacts, leads, pipelines, and messages in one place. It organizes and tracks leads from all our sites (GMB, Facebook, Insta, etc.)

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

Dreams don’t work unless you do! So just get started, you won’t regret betting on yourself!
