Despite the amount of the grant being small, try to choose 1-2 things that this grant will allow you to do or achieve. Grants are always awarded to the company/person who has the most detailed plan for them even if your intentions later might change.

Etsy Relief Grant

Application Notes

Keep in mind that this is for Etsy sellers in good standing and you’ve been on there for at least 1-year. Companies who don’t receive a grant can keep reapplying! The reason Etsy is doing this is because they want you to stay and succeed on THEIR platform.

2024 HerRise Microgrants

Application Notes

Every month it’s available for women of color, think about how your winning will make HerRise excited to share your story and the level of impact it will bring you and your business. When applicable – talk about the metrics it will help you achieve.

Amber Grant

Application Notes

Only 2 questions, think about the first question like a 5-7 minute written speech. For the 2nd question you must be extremely specific about the IMPACT of the money – not just talking about general categories.

$10,000 + chance to win $25,000

Connecticut Economic Development Grant

Application Notes

Must be based in CT, think about how the grant will impact more of the community you plan to grow in rather than the business itself. The bigger the impact – the more likely you will receive the $$$.
