Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Tiffany Yelverton is the founder and CEO of Entice Me, a company dedicated to enhancing sexual wellness and closing the gender pleasure gap. Tiffany believes that when women love their bodies and step into their sexual power, they are more confident, healthier, and happier. A niche she is especially passionate about is supporting female cancer survivors. She is the creator of Sexy Survivors, a digital platform empowering cancer survivors to embrace their sensuality and revitalize intimacy after life-altering treatments.

Tiffany combines her background in corporate management and training with her entrepreneurial spirit to facilitate personal and professional growth. Entice Me offers discreet online shopping for body-safe pleasure objects, workshops, retreats, digital courses, and private coaching focusing on helping individuals and couples connect with their sexual core and experience fulfillment in the bedroom and beyond.

Through her work, Tiffany aims to close the gender pleasure gap, improve relationships, reduce divorce rates, and restore balance to the planet by guiding individuals and couples toward greater sexual health and satisfaction.

Who are your customers?

In the B2C space, my customers are people interested in living their most fulfilling lives, with or without a partner. They are seeking support to navigate the challenges of sexuality or simply want to learn more and keep things spicy in the bedroom. Many of my clients are seek guidance and support in reclaiming their sensuality and rebuilding intimate connections. My target demographic is perimenopausal/menopausal women,  cancer survivors, and couples who are seeking to improve their sexual health, relationship satisfaction, and intimacy.

In the B2B arena, my customers are innovative cancer treatment facilities and hospitals supporting cancer survivors who are looking to increase patient satisfaction by offering cutting edge programming, without a drain on their labor force.

I also work directly with wellness and medical offices to bring tailored sexual wellness programs to their patients for cash-generating revenue.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

For the 14 years prior to Entice Me, I spent my time running seven-figure restaurants as a training developer, turnaround specialist, and top performer, ending my career as a General Manager. For many years prior to that, I worked retail in accessories and cosmetics.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I realized that in my job, I was no longer responsible for the things that brought me joy. I was under extreme stress and my mental and physical health were in jeopardy. I chose to work on my own dreams and goals instead of someone else's.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes, growing up I didn't ever imagine working for someone else. I knew I always wanted to be my own boss, creating meaningful companies.

Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

My marketing strategy was to invite friends over for open houses to showcase my new idea. I did this throughout my first year in business on my days off from the restaurant. This allowed me to build out systems and strategy as I engaged my audience. When I left my job, I continued to build my business by word of mouth through networking and in the medical field. It went as planned, but not as quickly as I would have liked. I also found that the world is even more closed minded to sex than I thought.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?

I would say the biggest challenge has been the lack of capital to expand, especially when it comes to hiring. There is a stigma with anything to do with sexuality and that comes into play with banking, funding, and advertising ability.

What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?

I am proud that I have made it 14 years and that I am able to add new services that are B2B, augmenting my existing business model.

Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you'd like to celebrate with our community?

Last year I was a scholar in the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Businesses program and recently launched my online funding campaign (https://bit.ly/SexySurvivorsIFW) to build out my cancer support system, Sexy Survivors.

What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

The next step for us is to bring Sexy Survivors to market in hospitals and cancer treatment centers as a stand-alone pleasure-based platform provided by the sites and delivered by Entice Me. Our goal is to offer support in multiple languages, to survivors wherever they reside. We strive to provide our programing to marginalized communities and facilities who lack private donors.

What is your top productivity tip?

Lots of self-pleasure and orgasms. I'm not kidding. Self-induced orgasms increase my confidence and motivate me so that I can be my best.

On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?

This is where I can struggle. I have to practice what I preach in taking time for myself and creating better time blocking. Taking walks, spending time outside, and with friends always help. I put myself first.

What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?

I listen to my body. I love my work and I have created a company that is truly me so there is a fine-line between work and life. I say no to things that don't light me up.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

I wish I would have known to focus on profit not revenue. And about balance sheets!

When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?

How are you motivated?

What's the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?

CamCard because I organize business cards there and can easily find the people I met.

What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?

Right now, I would say it's a toss-up between ChatGPT and Canva. AI has been a game changer on saving me time writing and creating graphics to use in marketing.

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

Done is better than perfect and trust your gut. You've got this and no one else is like you nor has your unique talents. There is plenty of business for everyone so don't get caught up in what other people are doing or how you compare to them.
