Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Hi, I’m Lena Gosik-Wolfe, the founder of Lena Designs Studio. I’m a brand strategist and designer, but at the heart of what I do, I help visionary women entrepreneurs transform their businesses into brands that feel like home—authentic, magnetic, and rooted in purpose. Through my signature program, The Brand Glow Up!®, I guide women through a transformative journey that’s more than just a visual makeover; it’s a deep dive into clarity, strategy, and design that builds confidence and connection. I mix art, psychology, and strategy to craft brands that look stunning and tell real stories. My goal? To help women see their brilliance and show it to the world unapologetically.

Who are your customers?

My clients are entrepreneurial women who’ve built businesses fueled by passion and purpose. They’re coaches, consultants, and creative leaders whose personal values aren’t just part of their brand—they are the brand. They’ve grown, evolved, and now their business feels out of sync with who they’ve become. They’re not looking for just a pretty logo; they want a brand that feels like them—clear, aligned, and magnetic to the right clients.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

After finishing my fine arts degree, I didn’t really know where I was going. I ended up bouncing between jobs that never quite felt like me—veterinary care, portrait photography, customer service, and a handful of other random jobs. Deep down, I knew I wanted to create something meaningful with my art, even if I couldn’t find the path forward. So, I went back to school for another art degree, and it was like flipping a switch. It gave me the confidence to dive into graphic design and branding. Looking back, it wasn’t a straight line, but every twist and turn taught me the importance of being real and embracing my story.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

Honestly, it was a mix of things. After years of feeling stuck in jobs that didn’t let me fully express myself, and after some personal experiences that really drove home the importance of self-worth, I hit a breaking point. I was done living by other people’s expectations. Then, when my husband lost his job right after I graduated, it pushed me to focus on our small handmade business. That experience showed me I could build something meaningful on my own terms. I wanted to create a space where I could help other women find the confidence to own their brilliance, just like I had to learn to do for myself.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Not at all. Growing up, entrepreneurship wasn’t even on my radar. It wasn’t until I worked in traditional jobs—where my creativity and emotions were often seen as weaknesses—that I realized I could carve out my own path. Entrepreneurship became my way of showing up as myself without needing anyone else’s permission.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?

Hands down, it’s been overcoming self-doubt and the fear of not being “enough.” For years, I struggled with imposter syndrome, wondering if I was really qualified to help others when I was still figuring things out myself. What I’ve learned is that confidence isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about trusting your journey, embracing your unique perspective, and showing up even when you’re scared. Growth isn’t a straight line, and that’s okay.

What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?

I’m most proud of the ripple effect my work has created. Watching my clients embrace their brands with confidence, land dream clients, and hit goals they never thought possible, writing books, being featured in national magazines, being invited to large stages—it’s the best feeling. Sure, the visual changes are great, but the real magic is seeing women own their stories and step into their power. That’s what it’s all about.

What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

Supporting women entrepreneurs is at the heart of everything I do. I’m constantly exploring new ways to foster collaboration, mentorship, and growth—whether it’s through one-on-one connections, workshops, or speaking events. Right now, I’m also deep into finishing my first book. My ultimate goal? To create a movement where every woman entrepreneur feels seen, supported, and unstoppable in her journey.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

When I started, I thought working for myself, by myself, was the dream. But over time, working from my small home office, I felt isolated and overwhelmed. Things started to shift when I began attending local business events and met other women entrepreneurs. Sharing stories and finding common ground showed me how vital connections are to growth. I built genuine relationships with women who not only thought like me, but also cheered me on like no one else and collaborated with me.

What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?

I won’t lie—I love ChatGPT. It helps me streamline tasks, brainstorm ideas, and even refine my messaging when I'm feeling stuck. AI, in general, is reshaping how we learn and share knowledge, and the speed and support it provides have lightened my mental load significantly. By handling some of the heavy lifting in the background, AI frees up mental space so I can be more present, creative, and strategic.
